Mocha Uson has been in the internet spotlight for the Mocha Uson Blog and her undying support for President Duterte. With 4 million plus Facebook followers and supporters she fondly calls ka-DDS or ‘Die-hard Duterte supporters,’ anything she posts about quickly become a viral online topic. The other day, Mocha posted about flyers allegedly being given out in Ateneo:

Ateneo Matanglawin was quick to reply. In a Facebook post, they clarified that the Mochang Tanga Blog was the lampoon issue of publication.

Ang Tanganglawin ang taunang mapanuyang publikasyon (lampoon isyu) ng Matanglawin Ateneo.
Sa Tanganglawin, nais ng pahayagang itatak ang mga problemang panlipunan sa isip ng mga Atenista at mga Filipino sa pamamagitan ng makatawag pansing paraan ng pagpapatawa.
Nais din ng publikasyong ipakita, sa pamamagitan ng “Tanga,” gamit ang mga isyung binigyang mapanuksong pagsusulat, na hindi nalalayo ang katotohanan sa katatawanan.
Mamulat. Magmulat. Matanglawin.
Today, Mocha posted about the issue. She explained that she does not judge the whole of Ateneo as she, herself, know Ateneans who are pro President Duterte.

Hindi ko inexpect that a simple yes or no question would grow this big. My post with a photo of the “mochangtanga” pamphlet is meant for verification and clarification; and not intended to judge the school which is why I ask them through my post and did not react prematurely.Â
Mahirap kasi na magreact ako agad and then malalaman ko na hindi naman pala sa kanila galing yan, thus, I raised the question if it was true or not. At least now, through questioning in my post and their posted answers, we know that this pamphlet does NOT represent (I hope) the Ateneo de Manila University as a whole but just that of one of their school organization. If it is one of your way in tackling the issues in social media then I am supporting it regardless of its negative impact towards me. I just hope that if this school organization of Ateneo de manila has time to spare and create a satire using my blog as the center, I hope they can also tackle ang pagiging biased ng ilang news outlets and use as well ang ibang anonymous blogs/pages who are really spreading fake news/article. Hiling ko po ay sana hindi lamang po nakafocus ang attention sa mga Duterte supporters kung talagang nais niyong talakayin ang problema sa social media. Sana po ay maging patas at talakayin maging ang mga anti-Duterte pages para hindi po magmukha na mayroon kayong kinikilingan, para hindi naman po magmukha na ang buong Ateneo de manila university ay against the President, kasi marami po ako kakilala na atenista but also a fellow Duterte supporter.
