Random Act of Kindness: Group of Friends “Pay It Forward” This Yuletide Season

I love the movie, Pay It Forward. It’s basically an act of giving back or responding to a person’s kindness by being kind to someone else. And, that’s exactly what this group did this season of giving.

“It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.” – This was the introduction message of the touching video circulating online. It may look like an ordinary “pay it forward” video, but their story behind it was genuine.

In the video, they gave food and little presents to homeless people, vendors, children, garbage collectors, and even our hardworking traffic enforcers.

So, I immediately looked for the owner of the video to find out more about their random act of kindness. Fortunately, he accepted my message request and was able to have a quick chat with the owner, Jireh Bringas.

Jireh shared that it was a collaborative effort with his friends.“We were supposed to have a ‘Triple Date’ or a ‘Couples Day,’ but we chose to have a ‘Pay It Forward Day’ instead, Jireh shares. He also added, “we were just being Saitama (One Punch Man) who’s a hero for fun.”

Watch it, to appreciate.

Basically, the essence of Christmas – or the Yuletide season rather – is to give love and respect to one another.

Honestly, it didn’t matter what they gave away or how much was the cost of everything. For them, it was the gesture of making those people happy this Yuletide season.

Good on you, guys! We hope to see more of these stories regardless of the season.
