It’s no secret that our girl Rachelle Ann Go is absolutely killing it in the theater world abroad — from West End and Broadway as Gigi in Miss Saigon to West End again as Eliza Schuyler in Hamilton — but we absolutely love hearing about the praises Rachelle is receiving for her performances.
Rachelle plays Eliza Schuyler in the West End production of the award-winning musical Hamilton by Lin Manuel-Miranda, love interest of the eponymous character Alexander Hamilton. The West End show opened on December 21 and as anticipated, Rachelle is receiving much acclaim from the media, particularly from the Guardian and The Mirror UK.
The Mirror UK, in particular, praised Rachelle’s performance, saying:
Rachelle Ann Go – playing Hamilton’s long suffering wife Eliza – has the audience in floods of tears with heartbreaking showstopper ‘Burn’.
