Quiznos Manila Opens First Store in High Street

Quiznos is a Denver-based food chain that mainly serves the freshest sandwiches that you can have. Quiznos Philippines is managed under Quizee Foods Inc., a subsidiary of the ACA Group formed specifically to bring the one of the largest fast-food brands in the world to the country. The ACA Group has a long-standing track record of introducing American brands to the Philippines, most notably Johnny Rockets, the all-American dining chain. 

 

 

 

I had first taste of this sandwich in Singapore and it was love at first bite. It was just a simple meatball sub but it was the meatball sub that I will never forget. Succulent meatballs and scrumptious sauce on a toasted bun — simply perfect.

So when I heard that Quiznos was opening in Manila, I was not able to help myself from jumping up and down. I was ecstatic! We were fortunate to attend its Grand Launch and have first bite of what Quiznos has to offer.

Dr. Amable Aquiluz, CEO of the ACA Group, gave a short speech to welcome Quiznos in the country. He is the man we should all thank for who made it possible for us to have this sandwich without going out of the country.

After the  speech, the tradition of cutting a giant sandwich and releasing of balloons formally launched Quiznos Philippines.

Some of the featured food items are the Double Cheese Cheesesteak, Classic Italian, Chicken Carbonara, and Small Harvest Chicken Salad.

 

The Double Cheese Cheesesteak has slices of Prime Rib, Double All-Natural Swiss, Sautéed Onions, and Mayo. It can be served on whole grain flatbread, white bread, wheat bread, or rosemary parmesan bread.

The Classic Italian has Capicola, Genoa Salami, Ham, Pepperoni, All-Natural Mozzarella, Black Olives, Iceberg Lettuce, Tomatoes, Onions, and Red Wine Vinaigrette. It can also be served same bread choices as the Double Cheese Cheesesteak.

Chicken Carbonara sandwich contains All-Natural Chicken, Smoky Bacon, All-Natural Mozzarella, Sautéed Mushrooms, and Parmesan Alfredo Sauce.

The Harvest Chicken Salad is a symphony of Honey-Dijon Chicken Salad, Granny Smith Apples, Grapes, Dried Cranberries, Cucumbers, Tomatoes, and Pumpkin Seeds with Acai Vinaigrette.
