Mike flashes his finger to the fans
PHX Championship Match: Mike Madrigal (c) vs. Bolt vs. Zayden Trudeau
Madrigal had his hands full with the “Animazing Fighter” Bolt and the “Canadian Dragon” Zayden Trudeau. The PHX champion would let the two contenders fight each other before he got in some offense early on. Madrigal dove off the ropes to hit Bolt outside the ring. Later on, Madrigal delivered a good rocker dropper on Zayden while the Fil-Canadian had Bolt in a leg lock. Bolt and Zayden would double team Madrigal soon enough with a Doomsday Device and a Double Superkick.
Zayden has Bolt trapped w/ his submission hold
Bolt dropped Zayden with the otaku-driver but Madrigal was there to break the pin. Trudeau connected with a spectacular double springboard dropkick on his opponents. Zayden hit the Desolé on Bolt while Madrigal re-entered the ring with the belt. Zayden delivered a high knee on Madrigal, but the PHX Champion blasted him with the PHX belt, and the GTS soon afterwards. Madrigal pinned Trudeau and retained the PHX Championship.
Vintendo vs McKata
The “Raging Gamer” Vintendo and the McKata squared off inside the PWR in what was a brief yet very physical contest. Vintendo hit a “Level 3 High Score” chokeslam on his opponent from the turnbuckles to grab the victory.
Ubusan Ng Lahi Match: Team Sy (Chris Panzer, Dax Xaviera, SANDATA, Joey Bax, & Miguel Rosales) vs Team Sebastian (John Sebastian, Ralph Imabayashi, Rederick Mahaba, Peter Versoza & ???)
In an act that looked like treason to most of the Revo-nation, “The Senyorito” Jake De Leon joined Team Sebastian as the surprise fifth member! PWR’s most beloved wrestler joined Sebastian’s group to demolish the establishment of Mr. Sy.
JDL traps Bax with the Inasal Lock!
JDL took care of Joey Bax with the Inasal Lock for the first elimination. SANDATA notched the second elimination as he downed Peter Versoza with the kidlat knee strike for Team Sy. Rederick Mahaba made the third elimination after hitting SANDATA with the It’s More Slam in the Philippines after a distraction from Ralph Imabayashi. Mahaba’s name would register in the fourth elimination after Miguel Rosales hit him with a Spear and Chris Panzer followed up with the Eagle Splash for the pinfall.
The fifth elimination was an amazing sonic crusher out of nowhere by Ralph Imabayashi on Chirs Panzer for the pinfall victory. The Sixth elimination saw Dax Xaviera bowing out to John Sebastian’s killshot for the pin. It was 3-vs-1 with Miguel Rosales as the lone Team Sy member who would take Team Sebastian to Barangay Suplex. He scored a huge pin on John Sebastian after hitting the Kastigo Brutal F5 for the Seventh Elimination. Jake De Leon was next on the list after he flattened the Senyorito with a jackhammer to notch the Eight Elimination.
With Imabayashi and Rosales as the final two men, the rest of their teammates would re-enter ringside for a huge brawl. This brawl featured a daring Mr. Sy who flew off the top rope to land on both teams. Jake De Leon slid a metal tray for Ralph to hit Rosales over the head with for a near victory. Imabayashi finished off the match with the Senketsu to deliver the win for Team Sebastian!
Team Sebastian invited Mr. Sy in the ring and took turns to humiliate the PWR GM. Sebastian laid him out with the killshot to end the show.
PWR pulled off one great show to end the year. The matches from top to bottom were enjoyable and had everyone at the edge of their seats. There were even free slices of Yellow Cab Pizza being given away and that’s a plus in my book! We would like to thank Philippine Wrestling Revolution for inviting us. We cannot wait to see more PWR in 2018.
