Philippine Wrestling Revolution’s final show of 2017 is a special one because of two things: (1) PWR Vendetta is presented by the company’s first ever major sponsor Yellow Cab Pizza Co., and (2) it is PWR’s milestone 30th live show. So with that, you can expect nothing but the biggest matches and the biggest names in Philippine wrestling to headline the historic show. We have a lot of ground to cover, so let’s get to the booked matches.
UBUSAN NG LAHI: Team Sy vs. Team Sebastian
It’s a turbulent time in Philippine Wrestling Revolution. John Sebastian has revealed that he now owns 50% of the company after he anonymously granted PWR a large sum of money to help lift it out from a very public bankruptcy scandal. Now that PWR has started to slowly become a profitable entity, the generous donation of John Sebastian has granted him operational powers and as much a say in the company as the PWR General Manager himself. Mr. Sy, however, knows that handing over that kind of power to Sebastian would be catastrophic for PWR, or the entire local wrestling scene for that matter. Both being gentlemen, they have agreed to each form a team of five to settle the score on their behalf in the Philippines’s first ever Ubusan ng Lahi Match.
Mr. Sy has the following members in his team: the current Kampeon ng Pilipinas Chris Panzer (Team Captain), Fighters 4 Hire’s Miguel Rosales and Joey Bax, Dax Xaviera, and their latest recruit SANDATA.
John Sebastian is yet to find his fifth and final team member by November 5th, but as of today, these are the members of Team Sebastian: John Sebastian himself, Peter Versoza, and MTNH’s Ralph Imabayashi and Rederick Mahaba.

3-WAY PHX CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Mike Madrigal (c) vs. Bolt vs. Zayden Trudeau
Two of PWR’s most exciting newcomers Bolt and Zayden Trudeau have given us some of the most memorable matches in Philippine wrestling history. And for months and months of consistently proving to fans and naysayers alike just how ready they are for the main event stage, they both have earned a shot at taking away the Philippine Hybrid X Championship away from the bird-flipping, hard-hitting, trash-talking Mike Madrigal.
Experience wise, Madrigal has the advantage over both Bolt and Trudeau. However, momentum is on the latter two’s sides — with Bolt beating Mike Madrigal clean in a non-title match during the last PWR Live show; and Trudeau beating no less than former ECCW Champion Billy Suede himself on the same night. With the two warriors hungry for a championship, Mike Madrigal has a lot to worry about.
3-WAY PWR TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: The Network (c) vs. Trian Dela Torre and Evan Carleaux vs. KakaiBros
Trian Dela Torre and Evan Carleaux, a.k.a. TDTxECX, were this close to taking the PWR Tag Team Titles from The Network’s James “Idol” Martinez and Alexander Belmonte III during the last PWR Live show. And with the momentum and teamwork, TDTxECX showed everybody that night, they actually could have walked away with those belts around their waists had it not been for a disgusting match interference by Kh3ndrick and Mh4rckie, the KakaiBros.
Surely, TDTxECX deserve a PWR Tag Team Title rematch. But now they have another thing to worry about: the KakaiBros have managed to likewise secure a contendership slot — giving the PWR Tag Team Championship Match at PWR Vendetta a 3-way stipulation.
The KakaiBros took advantage of a distracted PWR General Manager Mr. Sy to sign a PWR Tag Team Title Match contract.
ALL OUT WAR CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: The Apocalypse (c) vs. Vlad Sinnsyk
The Hand of Judgment excludes no man or monster. And this time, Vlad Sinnsyk sets his crazy eyes on The Apocalypse and his shiny All Out War Championship. After the disbanding of his former tag team Deadly Sinns, Sinnsyk has been dominating in the singles circuit; crushing any man that crosses his path — even laying a potentially career-ending injury on Jake De Leon. Proving to himself that no man can beat him, he sets his gaze on the monster Apocalypse.
On November 5th at PWR Vendetta, The Apocalypse is left with no choice but to defend his All Out War Championship and answer the call of judgment in the brute force that is Vlad Sinnsyk. And as always with All Out War rules: there will be no disqualifications, no count outs, and no holds barred.
INTERNATIONAL TAG TEAM SHOWCASE: The YOLO Twins vs. The Regime’s Tengu and Doctor Hertz
Last month, PWR received a video message from London Lucha League’s The Regime announcing that they are invading Philippine Wrestling Revolution on the November 5th show. The PWR Board had then decided to hold a qualifying match between The YOLO Twins and Punk Dolls, and whoever comes out on top gets to represent the Philippines in an International Tag Team Showcase against The Regime’s Tengu and Doctor Hertz.
Long story short, The YOLO Twins took the W that night thanks to Crystal turning against her Punk Dolls beshies Martivo and Robynn. Yohann and Logan Ollores’ win nonetheless grants them the rare and honorable opportunity to show the entire world just how formidable PWR’s Tag Team division is… but that’s only if their big heads don’t get in the way.
BYE-BYE BESHIES: Martivo vs. Crystal
Crystal has returned to PWR after a long hiatus to show her support at ringside for her beshies the Punk Dolls. But the cheers for her return quickly turned into boos as soon as she displayed her true colors and turned against Martivo and Robynn, costing them the match against The YOLO Twins. Asked why she did what she did, Crystal was quick to answer with but a wink leaving everybody more confused with her actions.
Crystal better have a good explanation for what she did. Perhaps we’ll all get answers from her at PWR Vendetta as she goes up against Martivo in a beshies-no-more grudge match. Robynn will be at ringside for Martivo.
GAMER VS. RAPPER: Vintendo vs. McKata
These two have been at it for months. Their latest outing, a rap battle, ended with McKata being force fed his own bars as Vintendo hits the fast-talker with a High Score chokeslam instead of an actual rap rebuttal. Clearly, Vintendo only did what he did because of his obvious inability to go toe-to-toe with McKata in his rap game. With that match ending in a no-contest, these two will face each other once more, this time in an actual wrestling match. With no end in sight for this rivalry, one of them must dominate in their next match-up at PWR Vendetta to end it once and for all.
