People say it’s hard to get it on the first try, but Ateneo Senior High School’s first ever fair, “PR1MERO: Ang Unang Paglalaab,” surely begs to differ.

“Ang Unang Paglalaab”

Things are heating up for Ateneo Senior High School. In less than a week, a new legacy will begin when it launches its first independently organized school fair.  Mr. Mark Zoel Masangkay, Fair Committee moderator, stated that “The fair itself represents a new generation of Ateneo students who are ready to build frontiers for the community.”

Sulyap: The Pr1mero Music Festival

Presumably the most highly anticipated event of the fair, “SULYAP” features a two-day music fest showcasing MOONSTAR88, She’s Only Sixteen, Itchyworms, Orange & Lemons, I Belong to The Zoo, Autotelic, Reese Lansangan, Munimuni, Any Name’s Okay, and many more in its astounding lineup that will ensure your money’s worth.

Mini-events, Booths and Rides

The best kickstarter to February? Escape rooms? Song and dance performances? Movie screenings? Attend all 16 exciting mini-events hosted by ASHS students themselves. Foster Filipino culture by checking out local products and getting a taste of local food and drinks from any of the record-breaking number of 62 booths. Go on fun rides like the Octopus, Anchors Away and Buzzer Beater Basketball and experience the new Giant Inflatable edition through exploring the Ultimate Obstacle, Giant Joust and Giant Boxing.

“I want the fairgoers to remember the fair as what Senior High School students are capable of. Let the fair be a reflection that every Atenean has the potential to someday be a catalyst of change,” stated by Augustine Edwin Bugtong, Fair Committee head when asked what the PR1MERO experience will be really all about.

As with the previous years, the Ateneo High School fair is for the benefit of the Tulong Dunong Scholarship Program and Christian Service Involvement Program (CSIP) beneficiaries through the celebration and appreciation for Filipino produce, talent and culture.

Do you want to be part of a legacy? Be there at “PR1MERO: Ang Unang Paglalaab” on February 1 and 2 at the Ateneo High School Football Field. Maybe being a first-timer won’t be so bad after all.
