Powerhouse is an annual public forum featuring esteemed speakers who are paragons in their respective fields to impart to the audience not only their knowledge but also their life experiences. It is hosted by The Rhetoricians: The UPLB Speech Communication organization.
This year, the Powerhouse speaker is a renowned and award-winning fictionist and journalist, Mr. Ricky Lee. He is the writer of famous novels such as Para kay B and Si Amapolasa 65 naKabanata, and scriptwriter of popular films like Himala and Jose Rizal.
The Rhetoricians aims to advance awareness in writing as a medium to inform, serve, and empower the people.
Powerhouse will be held on October 2, 2017 at the CAS Auditorium, UPLB.
