When was the last time you had a highly satisfying meal?
Allow me to tell you all about this new resto which I’m soooo raving about….. An Aussie inspired cafe, serving fresh organic food and coffee – Potts Point Cafe in Eastwood! Palatal Bliss I swear!!!!
Ever since I made a decision to start eating healthier 2 months ago, I would have to admit that finding restaurants with real, organic flavorful food was indeed a struggle. Aside from that, I realized how Metro Manila had too much restos selling a lot of carbo loads of crap! hehehe Good thing with the help of some health-conscious friends and also with a good amount of “googling,” I happen to come across Potts Point Cafe‘s Facebook Page. And after seeing all those drool worthy food photos, I knew I had to try them myself! MMMMmmmmmm!!!

Good thing, my foodie buddies Frank and Minette were all free to join me that afternoon for an organic, guilt-free food trip!
When you dine here at Potts Point Cafe, expect your tastebuds to be tickled! We ordered most of their specialties but these are the ones which we loved best….. =)
Opening our meal, was this colorful refreshing salad which I believe can already be considered as a “happy meal!”
Now this may not look appealing, but I assure you that you’ll find this superb! The Best Minestrone ever! I’ll definitely come back for this!
This was so heart-warming, that I will definitely crave for this during cold rainy nights. Never forget to squeeze the lemon for that added zing!
And because salmon is my weakness… I just had to see this on our table! Can’t go wrong with salmon and capers!
Nothing like the succulence of slow cooked meat made with love… tenderlicious meat with a layer of perfectly golden crispy skin, plus spoonfuls of citrusy sweet pineapple rice….. hands down… say hello to the comfort food of Mt. Olympus!
Oooooo -Maaaaaaaa-Meeeeeeeee!!! O. M. Geeeeeee!!
I think I would call this as “the ultimate cheat day dish!!” hehehehe Only a fool would not indulge in this edible creation! This was one of my favorites that night!
Getting to know the crumpet:
-
a thick, flat, savory cake with a soft, porous texture, made from a yeast mixture cooked on a griddle and eaten toasted and buttered.
Say, “G’day to the crikey crumpets from down-under!!” Truly a dinky-di (genuine) Aussie favorite!
Now this is seriously a plate licking good dessert! And the hints of sweet citrus mango puree on the side elevated it a notch higher! Bravo!
….and of course, we capped off that filling feast with cupfuls of Potts Point‘s very own brew
Of course, after that swoon-per-spoon experience, we never forgot to compliment the chef for sending us to palatal paradise!
Thank you chef! You rock!!! \m/
I would have to admit that I’m still dreaming of their Baked Prawn Thermidore Shepherd’s Pie and their English sticky toffee pudding! I’ll definitely be back to try out their other items! I believe you should too! Highly recommended! Definitely another must try when in Manila!
