Leading coworking brand Acceler8 continues its innovative approach of bringing people together and creating working communities with a special event offering in its monthly Eureka Series.
Billed as “Poblacion Re-Imagined: Stories Behind Reinventing the Neighborhood,” the event brings together popular establishments along Makati’s trendy district under one roof.
Acceler8 Community Manager Mari Ugoy explains that “As a coworking brand that aims to connect people, the event is meant for those looking into starting their own pubs and restos. We’re bringing in the expertise and vibe of these establishments so that our community members experience what it takes to thrive in the food-and-beverage industry first-hand.”
At 5 PM, there will be a pop-up bar and resto from the participating establishments where they will be serving their signature dish and drinks. The event will also feature a forum at 7 PM with owners of familiar spots in Poblacion such as Alexa Arabejo of Dulo MNL, Martin Ledesma of OTO, Ian Paradies of Polilya, Cara Paguio of Señor Pollo, Franco Ocampo of Tambai, and Cao Ocampo of Z Hostel. Other highlights include live art and a DJ set by St. Vincent and the Grenadines of Logiclub.

“Poblacion Reimagined” will be closing Acceler8’s current exhibit with Juan Portrait called “This is US: Celebrating Diversity through the Local Eyes.” The event happens on April 19, 5:00 to 10:00 p.m., at Acceler8 Coworking-Paseo, and is supported by Drinkka and media partners WhenInManila.com and Breakfast Magazine.
