Pitch Perfect is Back with This New Trailer!
The most overplayed song last Christmas was probably not Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” We’re guessing it’s “Cups” from the insanely famous musical comedy Pitch Perfect. And now, the sequel’s trailer has just been released, and we’re greeted with a slow tempo version of the song.
You read that right. Pitch Perfect will be back with Pitch Perfect 2! After winning the a cappella national competition, Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, and the rest of the Barden Bellas will compete at the world championships, held every four years. If you found the pitchslapping at the first movie to be hilarious, expect the sequel to have pitchslapping of international proportions, because it will still be written, produced, and directed by the same people. Pitch Perfect 2 will be directed by Elizabeth Banks, who was the producer of the first film (and the female announcer during the competition).
And yes, Fat Amy is still funny.
