Pinoy Hair Artist Cuts Hair of the Homeless in New York

Mark Bustos, a Pinoy hair artist working in a high-end salon in New York City, caught the attention of The Huffington Post recently.

The reason? Aside from giving wealthy customers a nice trim, he devotes his Sundays cutting the hair of the homeless.

How much does he charge them? Nil. Nada. Zilch. (All images from Bustos’ Instagram account.)

Every Sunday, he spends his only day off from work roaming around New York City to give free haircuts to the homeless. He always approach each and every person with the simple line, “I want to do something nice for you today”, The Huffington Post states.

Bustos posted a #tbt photo on his Instagram account where he recalls the time the movement started in a “100+ degree barbershop in my hometown province in the Philippines.”

He calls the movement #BeAwesomeToSomebody.
