This pink beach is located in Great Santa Cruz Island, just south of Zamboanga, and was just recently named by National Geographic as one of the 21 best beaches in the world!

The unique pink hue comes from crushed red organ pipe corals, which blend in the sand.

To visit Great Santa Cruz Island, one must make advance arrangements via the tourist office in Zamboanga, as the number of visitors to the island is regulated.

What are your thoughts on this pink beach? Will you be planning a visit soon?
