Over 600 future Industrial Engineers from different schools in Region IV-A will show their fighting spirit and scorching desire to seize the coveted championship cup of the annual Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers – CALABARZON Student Chapter Sports fIEsta.
This year, the annual sporting event will be held on October 29, 2016, Saturday at Colegio de San Juan de Letran from 7:00 clock in the morning until 6:00 clock in the afternoon.
The event aims to provide an avenue for the foster of camaraderie, sportsmanship and the vast talents of future Industrial Engineering students around Region IV-A CALABARZON, to promote an atmosphere of fun and relaxation away from hard and stressful academic subjects, to identify and give recognition to outstanding students in the field of sports, and to identify the best players in the Region IV-A and represent CALABARZON in the National Level of PIIE-NSC Sports fIEsta.
Meanwhile, PIIE-CSC Sports fIEsta 2016 will be composed of different events: Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Mixed Volleyball, Chess, Badminton, Table Tennis and the newest game of the event, Games of the General. There will be a pageant for the muse and escorts of each participating schools as well.
The PIIE-CSC is a regional academic organization of Industrial Engineering students with 30 member schools from the Southern Tagalog Region. The organization is highly regarded for providing academic excellence and opportunities, and for producing qualified student leaders. It carries the prime thrust of providing pertinent activities that involve its members internally and externally, helping them to reinforce the learning from the academe to actuality.
