Last year, it was announced that ‘Deadpool 2’ is definitely happening. And if you watched the after-credits scene of the first ‘Deadpool’ movie last year, you should know that Cable is set to appear in the much-awaited sequel. Well, I don’t know about you, but I’ve been wondering who they would cast in the role of the time-traveling mutant.
To be perfectly honest, I was really hoping they’d go for Kurt Russell. I don’t know what it is, but I could always picture him in the role of Cable. So, imagine my sadness when it was announced that the role might go to Pierce Brosnan, most famous for his role as James Bond.
I’m not quite sure how to feel about this and I know nothing is set in stone yet; but usually, when rumors about movie casting spread as much as this news does, it ends up being true. Anyway, they say Ryan Reynolds will be the one to announce the final casting, so let’s just wait for that announcement on Twitter: @VanCityReynolds
