Pia Wurtzbach Stamp

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach’s image is now immortalized on a postal stamp as she received her own stamp frame from the Philippine Postal Corp.’s (PHLPost) during the Binibining Pilipinas 2016 tea party. She is the latest “living legend,” joining Manny Pacquiao, Gloria Diaz, Margie Moran, and Megan Young.

According to reports, Wurtzbach received the stamp frame herself from Postmaster General Joel Otarra during the tea party at the Novotel in Cubao, Quezon City.

According to PHLPost, living legends are “exceptional Filipinos who have brought pride and glory to the country and setting as role model in their chosen field.”

A total of 101,000 pieces of Wurtzbach’s regular commemorative stamp and 5,000 pieces of souvenir sheets are printed.

The regular stamps cost PhP 15 each while the souvenir sheets cost PhP 40 per piece.
