MassKara Festival is an annual celebration in Bacolod City that is held every third weekend of October or on the closest weekend to October 19.

With the colorful and mask-adorned festival filled with smiles as backdrop, a newly-married couple decided to have an impromptu photoshoot on their wedding day in middle of the street during the festival.

Iyo Gaudite shared with WhenInManila.com the photos taken at the shoot.

When asked why they decided to shoot at MassKara, Iyo told us:

The groom’s name is Daniel and the bride’s name is Jill. During the Masskara Parade, we decided to have a photoshoot at the street because we want it to be unique. Not all brides and grooms have the guts to shoot at public and crowded places, so we tried our best and it was successful.

Here are more photos from the shoot.

Weddings are happy celebrations, so having smiling masks around is very on point
