With BIG events such as the Con-Ass, the H1N1 Swine Flu in Manila, Hayden Kho, Katrina Halili and Dr. Vicki Belo’s sex tape scandals, and being the biggest fans of Jon Stewart’s The Daily Show and Steven Colbert’s The Colbert Report, we thought that this would be the perfect time for us to laugh at the media hypes and weird politics that are happening right in front of us. We realized that the Philippines greatly needed an outlet for humor that could shed fun into the current situations and news stories around. Also, strongly avoiding the slapstick / idiotic comedy routines and demanding more insightful / well-written comedic skits, we realized that it was our duty to start this movement!
