The second show of the 7th Philippine International Pyromusical Competition filled the Mall of Asia Seaside boulevard night sky with vibrant colors and romance. After witnessing the opening of the competition with performances from the Philippine Platinum Fireworks and Portugal’s Luso Pirotecnia last February 13, the pyrolympics went on the 2nd round of show last weekend with Italy’s Parente Fireworks and United Kingdom’s Pyrotex Fireworkx. For the show last Saturday, February 20, they themed the performances with “Emotions,” a perfect fit for the two European countries!
It was definitely an exhibition of romance in the sky as Parente Fireworks of Italy sent out colors to the sky with classical Italian. The show was like a sweet serenade paired with vibrant color explosions in the romantic night sky.
United Kingdom’s Pyrotex Fireworkx also synchronized their performance with classical music to sustain the weekend’s theme. The highlight of their exhibition was their finale when they played Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You.
