What happens when you put musical legends with upstarts in one music video? Magic. Magic happens.
That’s what happened in BBC’s newly-released music video of The Beach Boy’s hit God Only Knows. In the almost three minute video, we see Keith Lockhart, Martin James Bartlett, Pharell Williams, Emeli Sande, Elton John, Lorde, Chris Martin, Brian Wilson, Florence Welch, Kylie Minogue, Stevie Wonder, Eliza Carthy, Nicola Benedetti, Jools Holland, Brian May, Jake Bugg, Lauren Laverne, Katie Derham, the Tees Valley Youth Choir, Gareth Malone, Alison Balsom, One Direction, Zane Lowe, Jaz Dhami, Paloma Faith, Chrissie Hynde, Jamie Cullum, Baaba Maal, Danielle de Niese, Dave Grohl, and Sam Smith perform an amazing medley.
Some of the names may be obscure to the regular music fan, so we broke down the names to help you become familiar with them:

- Keith Lockhart is the conductor of the BBC Concert Orchestra, who plays most of the instruments in the music video
- Martin James Bartlett is a teenage pianist who won the BBC Young Musician of the Year award this year
- Pharell Williams is the rapper and musician who performed in Happy, Blurred Lines, and Get Lucky
- Emeli Sande sang at the London 2012 Olympics, and is known for her songs Read All About It and Next to Me

- Brian Wilson wrote God Only Knows, and deserves to be in this music video. He is also one of the founding members of The Beach Boys
