It’s a proven fact that the Philippines is home to beauty queens. After wins in Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Earth, Miss Reina Hispanoamericana, and more, we have one more title to add to our growing list of pageant wins. Mary Eve Adeline Escoto, who represented the Philippines, was crowned Miss Asia Global 2017.
She was crowned the title on November 21 in Kerala, India. Escoto takes the crown from 2016’s winner Trixia Marie Marana, who is also a Filipina.
Escoto is a 23 year old physical therapist from Guimaras, Ilo-Ilo.
She was also awarded Best in National Costume, Best in Formal Wear, and the Missosology Choice award.
She was joined by Honey Tian Mi from China (Miss Asia 2017),Regina Mukhamadieva from Bashkortostan (first runner-up), and Akanksha Mishra from India (second runner-up).
