Penshoppe’s New Brand Endorser Mario Maurer in Manila Philippines

 

 

When In Manila and searching for most stylish and edgy apparel do not forget to check out Penshoppe with their new endorser Mario Maurer. Yes, you heard it right, the 22 year old Thai Teen Heartthrob is the newest endorser of the local brand Penshoppe. Do I hear more screams there? Trust me, I heard a lot already.

 

A couple of days ago, one of the biggest Filipino clothing brands, Penshoppe, formally introduced their newest endorser, Mario Maurer. An estimate of 5000 fans flocked the PICC Plenary Hall to grace the event and I will never forget how they shouted “Mario!” so loud and so proud! The fans’ love was just divine!

 

 

 

Mario Maurer signed a deal with PR Asia for his first endorsement here in the Philippines under the brand Penshoppe. The Thai superstar is popular in the Philippines for his movie “A Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” which was shown last year. His work  in movies like “Love of Siam”  gave him an acting award. Definitely this young guy is not just good looking but filled with talent as well. 

 

For most Filipinos, hearing news that this Mario Maurer will be visiting was already too much to handle! Finding out that they will all get a chance to meet him, thanks to Penshoppe, took this to a whole new fan girl level! 

 

 

 

Penshoppe, decided to launch their new brand together with the announcement of their new endorser. Penshoppe’s new brand image has this edgy, stylish, and young vibe as exemplified in their newly renovated shop at the SM Mall of Asia. This is definitely something any Mario Maurer and Penshoppe fan would want to check out. The Penshoppe Mario Maurer Fan Conference for their newest endorser was held last Friday, October 28, 2011. People from the media, and thousands of fans were there to grace the event.

 

 

Current Club Pen models such as Solenn Heussaf, Victor Basa, and Mikael Daez, were also there to support the event together with Penshoppe’s top boss Bernie Liu and family. I think Penshoppe did a great job in having a young Asian star endorse their clothing line since it will definitely be a hit in the Philippines and in all parts of Asia.

 

VJ Utt, hosted the event anddid a great job in raising the energy to bring the house down! The fans were very cooperative whenever VJ Utt would ask them to do fan chants. One fan even taught the Thai actor how to Dougie as the rest of the crowd joined them. Talk about fan spirit! Videos of Mario doing the dougie spread like wildfire online just a couple of moments after the said event.

 

 

To add to the already exciting and fun filled event, Blush, a new girl group opened the show before Mario’s appearance. Blush is the first Pan-Asian all girl group composed of five girls from different parts of Asia. This is a product of a Hongkong based contest Project Lotus. Angeli (Philippines), Natsuko (Japan), Victoria (China), Ji Hae (S.Korea), and Alisha (India), all gave the people a good show by performing some songs from their newest album which was collaborated with the man himself, Snoop Dogg. Talk about maximum Asian invasion.

 

 

Personally, I think Penshoppe together with the guys from PR Asia did a great job in putting up the event not only to introduce their newest endorser but for the fans to get a feel of the Mario Maurer experience. This young Thai superstar, remained polite, all the time and he was cool with all the “I love you’s” from his fans. 

 

 

Some fans were even lucky enough to have their photo taken with him on stage. Mario made it a point to pick lucky fans from different locations inside the Plenary Hall and he  picked them all himself. Seeing the dynamics between the fans and the actor made me appreciate being a Filipino. We really know how to make someone feel loved and welcomed. Mabuhay and Pinoy!
