We’ve all heard a variety of “horrifying” and “creepy” cab rides over the past few years. It is for this reason as well that ride sharing apps such as Uber and Grab Taxi have grown popular today. Unfortunately, some cab drivers still abuse their power and take advantage of their passengers. One woman was reminded why she stopped riding the regular cab in a horrifying experience aboard one just yesterday. She prefers to be kept anonymous, but read her story below.
“Need ko lng talaga e post 2 para ikalat ang mukha ng gago na ito. Ang driver na ito ay manyak!!!. Kahapon galing ako sa Taguig no choice ako dahil malakas ang ulan at hangin hindi ako nakapag grab car. Gumawa sya ng story na flat daw ang gulong nya kaya pinatingnan nya skin. Nong nakita ko hindi naman flat. At un ay pakana nya lang pala para lilipat ako sa harap niya. Pero hindi ako lumipat. After 25 minutes sabi niya na talaga sakin parang flat talaga kaya lipat ka nalang dito. hindi nya ako pinababa sa gilid nya lng ako pinadaan. At un pala hihipuan niya ako. Una sabi niya kakapalan ko na talaga ang mukha ko kasi hindi talaga daw sya magka girlfriend ng maganda pag hindi nya kakapalan at sabay touched ng legs ko hindi lng isang beses. Sa sobrang layo ng biyahe ko nilakasan ko nalang loob ko.

“I just really need to post this to spread the news about this asshole. This driver is a pervert!!! I came from Taguig yesterday, because the wind and rain was strong, I could no longer book a Grab Car and had no choice but to quickly hail a regular cab. Turns out, he was gonna grope me. We opted not to include the driver’s photo as these as mere allegations and we have no proof yet as to how true it is. Nonetheless, we are sharing this story so that everyone may be extra vigilant when commuting or out in public.
