Panda Express, a fast casual Chinese restaurant based in the US, is set to open in the Philippines soon!
The chain is known for its Orange Chicken with Fried Rice, Grilled Teriyaki Chicken, String Bean Chicken Breast, and more.
It opened in Glendale, California in 1983, with Chef Andy Kao developing its signature Orange Chicken in 1987. Its crispy chicken bites in a sweet and spicy orange sauce instantly became a favorite, with the restaurant serving 80 million pounds of the order in 2016 alone. Today, Panda Express is America’s largest family-owned and operated Chinese food chain.
Jollibee Foods Corp. is set to bring Panda Express to the Philippines with five stores in Metro Manila as part of its initial phase, but there’s no word where they will be located.
