Nineteen (19) master-artists from the Saturday Group and thirty (30) young budding artists from La Salle Green Hills, International School Manila, and Gawad Kalinga communities gathered in Mabuhay Restop last September 30, 2017, to create collaborated artworks. Led by Saturday Group President Omi Reyes, the artists volunteered their time and talent for this very worthwhile endeavor for Gawad Kalinga.
An Art Exhibition will be held between October 16 to October 18 in La Salle Green Hills. Open to public viewing, the Main Art Exhibition will be from October 21-28, 2017 at the Saturday Group Gallery, 4th Level, Eastwing, Shangri-la Plaza Mall, Mandaluyong City.
In celebration of the RP-UK Friendship Day (Week), the British Embassy and the British Alumni Association have embraced Paint Share Care’s series of art and charity events. BAA Chairman Roberto de Ocampo, British Ambassador Daniel Pruce, LSGH Principal Ramelle Javier, ISM Principal Rachel Harrington, GK Executive Director Luis Oquinena and Gkonomics Executive Director Rose Cabrera, will be awarding our masters and student-artists, special plaques and certificates on the 28th of October, 2017. The highlight of the Afternoon Tea Art Auction will be the unveiling of a collaborated painting by respected and seasoned artists Lydia Velasco, Roel Obemio, Buds Convocar and Omi Reyes.
Thirty (30) Charity Cards will be sold at Paint.Share.Care’s venue for purchase of these cards will be through Eventbrite.com
The Charity Card bearer will be entitled to a Paint.Share.Care.’s collaborated artwork and an entrance to the Afternoon Tea Art Auction on October 28. Only those who have purchased Charity Cards will be entertained to our online bidding, where minimum bid starts at Php10,000. More details are on the Paint.Share.Care Facebook page.
A significant portion of the proceeds will go to Gawad Kalinga’s Kusina ng Kalinga, a children’s feeding programme, and GKonomics. Master-Artists and children helping children: such a heartwarming endeavor.
