The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) posted on their Facebook Page a poll asking for a name replacement for Typhoon Nona. They said on the post:
NONA will no longer be used by PAGASA and now looking for a replacement !!! Suggestions are now welcome.
PAGASA enumerated past typhoon names that start with the letter “N”. These are:
- NENENG
- NANDO
- NINA
- NONOY
- NANANG
- NINGNING
- NORMING
- NARSING
- NANING
- NITANG
- NORA
- NANCY
- NADINE
- NELLY
PAGASA said the most engaging name will be used to replace NONA.
