The Bureau of Immigration required One Direction members Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson to pay for “weed bond” amounting to PhP 200,000 each (PhP 400,000 total for the two), The Philippine Star reported. This “weed bond” will be forfeited should they be caught using or promoting illegal drugs during their concert.

The imposed “weed bond” is in response to the call of a local Anti-Drugs Advocate group to watch the group carefully due to a recent video posted by The Daily Mail that shows Malik and Tomlinson smoking weed in Peru.

The said video can be viewed as follows.

A few days ago, there was also a petition that calls for mandatory drug testing of One Direction members before their Manila concert.

One Direction is set to perform on a two-day concert on March 21 and 22 at Mall of Asia Concert Grounds. This two-day concert is part of the group’s “On The Road Again” tour.

Do you agree with this imposition by the Bureau of Immigration?

Is there anything else that should be done?
