OMG: This Island Has Puppies For Residents

I don’t know about you, but if I were to get stranded on an island, I’d want it to be on an island filled with puppies.

On the island of Providenciales in Turkes & Caicos live about 50-70 adorable dogs, all rescued and waiting to be adopted!

The organization is called Potcake place, and the doggos are called “potcakes”, which refer to a beautiful mixed breed of Labrador Retriever, German Shepherd, and English Fox Terriers!

These adorable potcake pups are overpopulated across the Caribbean!

There are volunteers at the shelter who make sure that the pups are up-to-date with their vaccinations, and can even help arrange certificates for travel. They really want these dogs to get adopted, you guys!

But if you can’t adopt them, no worries — just the cuddles more than enough. Human social interaction is important to these puppers!
