OM Lifestyle + Cafe: A Fusion of Food and Fashion

Located at Connecticut, Greenhills, Om Lifestyle Cafe is owned by mother and daughter, Suman and Anjie Gogna. From a home-based boutique transpired into a commercial boutique, the brand provides people instant access into the exotic world of exclusive Indian finds by covering fashion, food and interior. The cafe is made with an exclusive feel, but with one reservation, you can also enjoy a quirky, nostalgic atmosphere with a private lunch/dinner, or family get-together for any occasion.

The cafe has an extensive menu from The Gogna’s family recipe, which I got to try during my visit. Authentic Indian dishes were served such as Paneer Pita Pocket, Chicken Tikka and Samosa, all personally recommended by Anjie Gogna herself when I couldn’t decide what to choose from the array of selections in the beautiful typography-written menu.  

The Paneer Pita Pocket served with the Mint Yogurt Chutney Sauce can quickly become your favorite comfort food, giving you a taste of Indian flavors that will warm up your tastebuds. 

Chicken Tikka, pieces and bits of tender chicken marinated in different spices, turned out to be my favorite, though, along with the Samosa with Tamarind Chutney Sauce. 

Lassi and Lemon Ginger Cooler came to rescue to refresh me from the heat of the climate. 

The dessert really caught my attention, too. The Kulfi that was served has a similar appearance to ice cream, but with a strong flavor of saffron in a creamy state. 

When In Manila and you want some authentic Indian Cuisine, Om Lifestyle + Cafe is definitely worth paying a visit. With pretty interiors that are Instagram-worthy, it is also an ideal venue for dates, meetings and gatherings with your favorite people.
