Old Lady Locked at Home So Her Relatives Can Sell the House

We’ve all heard of horrible stories of relatives disowning their ageing parents or grandparents and leaving them to fend for themselves. But sometimes, relatives can lock their ageing parents or grandparents inside the house.

This case of a grandmother allegedly being locked at home and left to die so her relatives can sell the house is going viral on Facebook. According to Ayesha Liezel Danan, who first posted the story:

(I uploaded this picture so I can somehow help this old lady. I don’t know her but I feel sad for her. Notice how the gate is locked. Every day she begs for help so she can eat.)

Ayesha did some research and found out stuff about the old lady:

(She has one child who passed away, and her granchild is in another country. The only person she’s with is her niece/nepher. The house is old, and is only 100 square meters. According to neighbors they’re just waiting for her to die so they can sell the house and lot.)

According to Ayesha, the house is located in Balic-Balic in Sampaloc, Manila.
