Last week, it seemed like international artists were excited to meet their Filipino fans as they simultaneously flocked to the Philippines. There was Coldplay, and the girl group Fifth Harmony who was also no exception.

The girls and their Filipino fans have a long history, with Fifth Harmony even tagging their Filipino harmonizers as the best fans in the world.

The fans were quick to welcome the girls and their crew when they landed. Just as their welcoming spirit was at an all-time high, same goes with their energy.

The energy of the harmonizers never ceased, from Fifth Harmony’s arrival down to the actual concert—the girls now just have to beat the clamor of their fans. Their performance definitely did not disappoint. The group graced the stage with their fists pumped high singing their opening number ‘That’s My Girl’. The crowd’s uproar grew even more as soon as the girls reciprocated the Filipino love by donning a Pilipinas jersey with their names printed on the back.
There was a lot of singing and dancing of course, but it made it a worthy experience as the girls showed nothing but love for the Filipino fans. Dinah even got the crowd to chuckle when she said she learned how to say “You guys are beautiful” in Filipino, saying “Maganda kayo!”—thanks for the compliment! In betweens, all the girls had their time to talk to their Filipino fans and even agreed to do a mini game where half of the crowd has to beat the other in one crazy roar.
In a more calm tone, Dinah called out on everyone to utter “I’m brave, I’m beautiful and I’m honest” with confidence—assuring the whole arena that these girls are more than just singers, they are performers set with a good heart. It’s just one of those moments that will keep you from moving on.
I know no one is ever gonna be ‘Miss Movin’ On’ after the 7/27 Tour Manila. Not only because Fifth Harmony definitely set the bar high, but also because of the beautiful words they sent out to the Filipino crowd.
