Muntinlupa City has now been placed under a 24-hour curfew beginning Friday, March 20, according to a signed ordinance.

The ordinance states that no person shall go out of their respective homes unless they fall under the exemptions provided by the ordinance.
These are the following penalties for violators:
First Offense:
- Blotter with the barangay
- Picture or capturing of image
- Cancellation of benefits granted by the LGU, such as the Muntinlupa Scholarship Program and the zero-interest loan (Dagdag Puhunan)
Last Offense:
- Blotter with the barangay
- Picture or capturing of image
- Withholding of relief goods and other assistance until the end of the quarantine period
