Morellato: Italy’s Finest Jewelry Brand is Now Here in the Philippines!

 

Jewellery is generally a part of every woman’s life. From earrings to bracelets, it never fails to make a woman more beautiful in the eyes of many. The current trend of customizable accessories is rising fast because every girl wants to have those unique yet timeless pieces that will help her stand out from the rest. Well, for all of the women who are in love with jewellery, here’s one brand that is sure to spark your interest: Morellato!

Morellato was founded in Venice, Italy in 1930. They have generations of refined taste makers and a whole line of jewels inspired by the Italian Renaissance. They just opened their first store at EDSA Shangri-La with a product launch at the Spatzle Euro Market Cafe last July 22 and here’s the run-down!

A wide variety of accessories from the brand were showcased at the cafe. Did you know that Morellato actually started out making watches first? This eye-catching one especially caught my attention not only because of the diamonds that surround it, but also because of its smooth shape and fascinating view of the gear work inside.

 

 

These dainty sets of necklaces and bracelets shaped like flowers stood out for me, as well! Oh, how I wished I could try them all on!

 

 

During the program proper, Issa Litton called on 5 lucky ladies to join an activity that made every other girl at the event wish they were them. They were basically asked to create their own accessory using Morellato’s wide selection of drops! (Spot Marla Miniano from Candy Mag!)

 

 

While that was ongoing, the big bosses of Morellato – Italian Ambassador Massimo Roscigno and Asia Pacific President Marco Raccuia – shared their thoughts about the event.

 

 

Of course, a press launch like this wouldn’t be complete without models going around and showcasing how the accessories would look when worn. 

 

 

Afterwards, we were escorted to Morellato’s store just a few steps away for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. 

 

 

Aside from the top executives who visited the launch, the brand ambassadors and other celebrities were also present for the event. Amongst them were Julie Ann San Jose, Isabel Oli, Bela Padilla, Shamcey Supsup, Divine Lee and many more! Talk about a lot of bright stars all in one place!

 

 

After pictures were taken, we were invited inside the store to take a closer look! The pieces are all carefully crafted with stainless steel and an array of precious and semi-precious materials, such as pearls and diamonds. How’s that for a combination of elegance and durability? These glimmering pieces had me blinded for a moment there!
