Are you a fan of Mobile Legends? Maybe it’s time for you to represent the country since the game is now a competing category at the at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games!
Mobile Legends will be joined by another mobile game, two console games, and two PC games. The rest of the games have not been identified.
The rest of the games that will be included in the sporting event will be announced next month or in January 2019. All we know is that the games “should not promote the culture of violence and gambling,” and that the venue will either be in Metro Manila or New Clark City.
This is the first time that a contestant can win a medal for a game at a regional sporting event under the International Olympic Committee. Last year, Mobile Legends was included at the 2018 Asian Games but only as a demonstration event.
The contestants that will represent the country will have to join qualifying tournaments in order to join the national team.
Next year’s SEA Games will be hosted by the Philippines and will be from November 30 to December 10, 2019.
