The Philippine representative for Miss Earth 2017, Karen Ibasco, has already bagged three gold medals in the pageant’s preliminary competition, giving her the lead in the medal tally.
The three gold medals are for the National Costume, Darling of the Press, and Swimsuit competitions. The 27-year-old Filipina beauty also bagged two silver medals in Resorts Wear and Long Gown competitions.

The Miss Earth 2017 Grand Coronation night, with the theme “Heroines Fighting Climate Change,” is set to happen on November 4 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, with Ecuador’s Katherine Espin crowning her successor.
