The Dalgona Coffee trend has taken the Internet by storm. Many people have made their own versions, and have taken to social media to show off their finished products. It’s pretty simple to make, really. All you need are three ingredients: instant coffee, sugar, and water. The real workout, however, is in the mixing, especially if you don’t have an electric mixer at home.
Trust us, though: the results are rewarding. If done right, you’ll end up with fluffy coffee – one with an almost marshmallow-like consistency. Something like a meringue, but brown. Once you top it over a glass of icy cold milk, you’ll get Dalgona Coffee. Yum!
Ever since it became viral on social media, people have added their own creative twist to Dalgona Coffee. Some use matcha instead of coffee, while others use the frothy coffee to make cakes and other desserts. One milk tea brand decided to introduce this concept in their drinks, too. The brand? The Alley.

Aside from the poster above “COMING SOON after ECQ! Come and taste the trend. Stay tuned for updates!” is our only clue. Although not much is said about the available flavors or pricing, you can definitely expect a frothy surprise from The Alley after the Enhanced Community Quarantine is lifted. We can’t wait!
