Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth seem to be enjoying their time down under in Liam’s native country of Australia!
The 25-year-old “Malibu” hitmaker was spotted with her 28-year-old Australian beau were spotted frolicking and splashing around on the beach in Byron Bay, New South Wales.
Miley and Liam both flew to Australia at the start of the year to spend some time with Liam’s family. On January 10, the couple stepped out to enjoy lunch with Liam’s parents.
Both Miley and Liam were sighted sporting their “promise rings”, fueling rumors online that the couple secretly got married while down under.
Miley is also still wearing the same Neil Diamond engagement ring Liam got for her when they first got engaged in 2012. In an interview with Ellen in 2016, Miley said:
“This is really weird, because this is like real jewelry and most of my jewelry is made out of gummy bears and cotton candy … they don’t look that good together because they kind of mix up. So sometimes I replace it with an actual unicorn or a Looney Tune. And [Hemsworth’s] kind of like, What’s going on? I am like, This isn’t really my aesthetic, but I’ll wear it because you love me.”
Since the two got back together in 2015, Miley and Liam have since become more low-key about their relationship, so it’s nice to see them out and happy!
