Following his announcement last Friday, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte has finally made everything official. According to ABS-CBN, Mayor Duterte went to the Commission on Election (COMELEC) office in Davao to withdraw his mayoral bid earlier today.
Yes, it is official, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte has filed his candidacy for President.

As stated in the news report, Mayor Duterte was accompanied by his daughter, Sara, who is very supportive of her father.
If you remember, Attorney Inday Sara even shaved her head to support the Filipino people’s desire for her father to file candidacy and run for the said position.
Meanwhile, the tough Mayor decided to run for President as he couldn’t take someone aiming for the highest position in the country, who only possessed “presumptive Filipino citizenship.” Obviously, he was referring to Grace Poe, who was apparently accused of having citizenship issues.
