It’s only been about two weeks since Maxene Magalona married her long-time boyfriend Robby Mananquil in a dreamy beach wedding at Shangri-La Boracay, but it’s clear that the newlywed is still on cloud nine!
The actress took to Instagram to post a lengthy appreciation for her husband, thanking him for giving her the wedding of her dreams.
Maxene and Rob were married twice — first in an intimate ceremony among family and friends at the Santuario de San Antonio Paris, then in Boracay.
Maxene said:
I said to myself that I didn’t want to get married if it wasn’t going to be a wedding filled with love and meaning and that is exactly what Rob and I had intended for our special day.
The actress also shared that she and Robby were very hands-on for their wedding and treated it as their passion project.

I have found the one whom my soul loves ? Just want to take this time to thank my husband for giving me the wedding of my dreams! First, an intimate church wedding with our immediate families and principal sponsors and second, the outdoor ceremony I’d always dreamed of having since I was a little girl.
