Mapúa 90th Founding Anniversary Celebration: XCelsior: 90years of eXCellence, eXCeedance and eXCeptionalism
The Mapúa Institute of Technology will be celebrating its 90th Founding Anniversary from January 24 – 31, 2015 with the theme: eXCelsior: 90years of eXCellence, eXCeedance and eXCeptionalism.
This year’s Foundation Week promises to be different from the previous celebrations with its eXCeptional and eXCiting activities that will exceed one’s expectation. The week-long celebration is hosted by the School of Languages, Humanities, and Social Sciences. Likewise, this grand event is organized by the three highest student governing bodies of the Institute namely: Central Student Council (CSC), Council of Organizations (COO), and Council of Presidents (COP).
Highlighting the celebration are this year’s grandest and biggest events such as:
The 90th Mapúa Founding Anniversary Grand Opening Ceremony which will be covered by ABS-CBN’s Umagang Kay Ganda (UKG) with some celebrities who will participate.
The annual Parade of Excellence which will showcase best designed-floats from different schools/departments of the Institute with its futuristic theme presentations.
The first ever MITV Gawad Kamalayan in which the Institute will give recognition to television personalities and programs that contributes to raise consciousness among Filipinos particularly the youth. This grand event will be held on January 29, 2015 (Thursday) at the MIT Gymnasium.
The much awaited Search for Mr. and Ms. Cardinals 2015. In this pageant, the students of Mapúa will not only prove that they have the eXtraordinary beauty but also eXCeptional brains making them truly eXCeed one’s expectations. This eXceedingly eXciting event will be held at MIT Gymnasium on January 30, 2015 (Friday).
This year’s foundation week of the Institute promises to be one of the biggest ever. At this juncture, the Central Student Council, Council of Organizations, and Council of Presidents wish to seek for your support in making these events successful.
