MANILA, Philippines (6 September 2013) – Data is witnessing a massive upswing with regards to volume, velocity, and variety. With Big Data, it is now feasible to efficiently store, manage and analyze both structured and unstructured data such as log files, social media data and text to help organizations make more informed business decisions.

IDC’s Asia Pacific Director for Big Data and Analytics Research Group, Craig Stires arrived from Singapore and spoke with the CIOs and I.T. leaders of Philippine enterprises at the CIO Forum at the Mandarin Oriental last August 27.
Top C-Suite executives attended and learned how they can transform their organizations with Big Data.
Mr. Stires was the Keynote Speaker of Computerworld Philippines’ CIO Forum and discussed “The Next Step on your Big Data Journey”.
