Manila to host 2018 FIBA 3×3 World Cup

FIBA recently announced that next year’s FIBA 3×3 World Cup will be held in the Philippines.

The country has previously hosted two stages of the professional season – the FIBA 3×3 World Tour – in 2014 and 2015. Some of the PBA stars have also participated in the tournament such as Terrence Romeo and Calvin Abueva.

FIBA officials say they are positive “passionate Filipino fans will make it an unbelievable experience for the best 3×3 players in the world and everyone watching on all platforms.”

There are still no details, however, on where exactly in Manila and when the 2018 FIBA 3×3 World Cup will take place.
