Filcon Rivera is 57 years old, but his age doesn’t stop him from riding his bike across the country to promote his advocacy.
Rivera has been cycling around the country, meeting motorists and bypassers to encourage them to do their part in reducing air pollution!
According to ABS-CBN News, the cyclist started his crusade in Negros Oriental in September, bringing only a wooden basket and hammock, where he has since reached Metro Manila and Ilocos Norte this month.
Rivera would hitch a ride in fishermen’s boats to reach lands separated by water.
He hopes to gather thousands of signatures around the country in support of the Clean Air Act and for the government to take more serious action for the environment, which he hopes to present to President Duterte.
