The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has featured WWE Superstars of Filipino descent in the past and at the present. From former WWE Champion and current movie star Dave Bautista (a.k.a. Batista) to the inaugural CWC Champion T.J. Perkins, we have seen them represent our country in WWE’s squared circle. In a couple of years, will we see more Filipino wrestlers in WWE programming? There’s a possibility!

Last month, at Philippine Wrestling Revolution’s (PWR) event called PWR Live: Bagong Yugto, WWE Vice President for Talent Development Canyon Ceman and Chris Marsh, General Manager for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, were spotted ringside as audience members in the crowd. PWR General Manager Mr. Sy even mentioned and announced their presence during the PWR Live pre-show. For those who watched WWE’s TV show called Breaking Ground, fans would remember Mr. Ceman as the one hiring or firing the talents for the WWE. Mr. Ceman being in attendance for this show might mean he and Mr. Marsh might have been ‘scouting’.

Nobody knows, maybe except PWR and the WWE, the REAL reason why the WWE executives were there. All I can say is, it’s possible that they are scouting future and potential WWE (or even NXT) talent in the country. If ever that’s the case, are you excited to possibly see “Senyorito” Jake De Leon, current PWR Champion John Sebastian, or even “Social Media Sinister” Ken Warren on WWE programming in 2-3 years?
