This is just one example of the terrible traffic commuters have to endure just to get to work or school, everyday. It is sad that Filipino commuters have just become so used to this. But what is the root of this problem anyway? Is it always renovations, bad roads, or weather? Or are we also doing something wrong?
The photo above, for example, seems a pretty manageable problem if only motorists practiced a bit more respect and adherence to the rules. What is wrong with this intersection? Why are the vehicles all facing in criss-crossing directions? As seen in the photo, there seems to be a working stoplight above the street. So what caused this huge tangle of cars and jeepneys and motorcycles?
