Here’s how it works in a nutshell: you get nail extensions, then your color choice of Polygel formula (everything is pretty natural, for a good base) is popped onto your nails and is cured using LED light, and then you can top that off with the brand’s partner nail lacquer, Morgan Taylor. With all that in mind, we thought it would be fantastic to share this nail fairytale with you. Here’s how to get your most premium nail fix with a Polygel formula that will give you the hands of a goddess, courtesy of Kallista!
5. Choose from three special fragrances prepared by the nail salon (we recommend the rose petals) for your hand soak
Your hands are going to be as soft and as smooth as a rose after a quick soak in this warm, florally fragrant goodness. This step ensures that the surroundings of your nails are smooth and gentle to work with.
4. Let your nails undergo the similar cleaning process, and then you proceed to stick-on nail extensions
Don’t worry, they’re going to file these to your desired length and shape! This is actually necessary for the Polygel formula, since it’s really rich and thick, and will need a longer nail base to cover and spread on.
3. The best part: applying Polygel through a convenient combo—The Squeeze and Slice
Your personal nail technician squeezes the Polygel tube enough to produce the perfect amount of gel for your nail length, and slices it from the tube and places it onto your nail using Gelish’s super handy two-sided gel applicator. It looks pretty cute just sitting there like a bubble, tbh.

2. Using Polygel’s special slip solution, the gel is gently and precisely patted onto your nails using the brush end of their applicator
At this point, everything on your nails starts to feel like your actual nails. The formula is so lightweight—it’s that natural!
1. After all that gel, you go through a series of LED light curing and cleaning. And, finally, you can coat your nails with your preferred Morgan Taylor polish!
Unlike LED light curing with regular hard gel polishes, Polygel’s formula does not heat up your nails. All this curing causes your nails to be smooth as silk, making the nail lacquer glide on like a feather!
Voila, you’re done! What a masterpiece!
