LOOK: This Korean Barista Recreates Van Gogh’s Renowned Paintings in a Cup of Coffee!

I love coffee. And I also appreciate the latte art that comes with it. And if you are looking for something unique latte art, you have to go to Korea and look for Lee Kang-bin who recreates world-renowned paintings like Van Goh’s Starry Night and Edward Munch’s “The Scream” in a cup of coffee!

Kang-bin is an artist and a barista in Seoul South Korea, instead of using canvas or paper he paints in a cup of coffee using colored cream and tiny brushes. He is credited with the website The Perfect Daily Grind as the inventor of cream art.

At 26 this you artist and barista owns Café C where he does his artwork for customers every day. Customers say his coffee is too beautiful to drink. Lee-bin has been quoted as saying “I wanted to surpass the limitations of traditional latte art by introducing colors and a wider range of designs. I think it’d be a great addition to the art bar section of the WLAC (World Latte Art Championship) and I hope to breathe new life into an otherwise isolated path in the industry.”

Not only does he create coffee masterpieces but he also teaches other baristas how to create their own coffee artwork.

Can you visit the Philippines, please? Or maybe next time I go to Korea, I’ll order a Mona Lisa Latte.
