Thirteen years seem like a long time. But when you look past that today, you’ll realize how quick time came to be.
A photo shared by a Facebook page shows a barely-occupied BGC with only a few establishments erected. Greenfields and a couple of trees also abound in one area, contrary to the metro it appears today hovered by buildings.
One comment shared on the post by a Facebook user reminisces her childhood with this view – including many people jogging or flying kites, or even the night time that looked like a park because it was “sobrang (very) peaceful”. Additionally, another user recalled that as a child, she spent memories biking in the place as well.
Another recalled a memory back when this photo was taken that one couldn’t get lost in BGC because the streets were “just one stretch”.
