LOOK: This 18-Year-Old Creates Amazing Food Art

As you may know, art is no longer confined within the use of well-known mediums, such as pen and paper. And this 18-year-old freshman named André Manguba proves us that creativity and artistry knows no boundaries through his amazing food art.

Long before being known for his unique type of art, André has been using colored pencils to create realistic portraits.

He shared that his food art started during his internship where he was assigned to promote the products of a company that produces noodles and such. This challenge allowed him to venture with more art mediums and become an artist who thinks out of the box. He decided to market the noodles in a unique way. Hence, the birth of his food art.

Aside from being able to discover another form of art, it also served as an avenue for his exposure as an artist. Through this, he had been invited by several art brands to do workshops not just with his food art but also using pens. Not to mention, he was also invited by Matanglawin to be featured in an episode where he was able to show his food art to Kathryn Bernardo and Kuya Kim.

As for future plans, André shared that he’ll be having a food art gig on August 27, 2017 in the Festa Della Pasta event at the Venice Grand Canal Mall. You may check out more of his art here.
