According to Kat Nocom, e-commerce executive of Sofitel Manila: “Whenever you say ‘French celebration’, there is always cheese and wine. It is more of having a great gastronomic experience. They focus on the food and the way they serve it.”

Here are some of the mouthwatering dishes that will surely make you want to celebrate… French-style!

Pork Fillet, Brocolli Puree, Glazed Carrots and Poivrade Sauce

Pork fillets are bathed in a peppery poivrade sauce to remind you of what traditional French cuisine is. These are served with a side of broccoli puree and glazed carrots.

Celery Remoulade Crabs and Avocado and Pan-Seared Scallops and Ginger Orange Sauce Celery Remoulade Crabs and Avocado (Left) and Pan-Seared Scallops and Ginger Orange Sauce (Right)

The first dish is a symphony of celery, avocado, and crabs in remoulade (a mayonnaise-based condiment crafted with a variety of condiments and herbs). The second one is a fusion of tasty scallops and a hybrid of ginger and orange for the sauce. It is accompanied by couscous on the side. A bite of these two will surely make your tastebuds crave for a round two!
